Five girls, five months, seventeen adventures...

Five Girls: From oldest to youngest (sorry Anna),

Anna is our adventure leader. She is always pushing us to do something exciting or new...although some of her ideas have been of questionable legality. Her joie de vivre and spunk shields us from a mundane existence.

Sarah Fisher (called thus by her roommates) is our apartment motherly type. She's also our efficient organizer. Without her all of our well laid plans would fall into a disorganized ruinous rubble. Speaking of rubble...the odds of us getting her out in the wilderness (see our adventure list) without either the aid of a dart gun or an inflatable hotel are slim, but we'll find a way.

Abby is the creative genius of our apartment and the mastermind behind this venture of ours. Of course being a procrastinator from way back we really should have planned to have 10 months to get this done. Oh, and did we mention she's "that girl?"

Mabe is the thoughtful steady one who keeps us all in line, the compass for our group that always points north. We may have to drag her away from her books for our adventures, but once she's free of them there's no holding her back. She might turn out to be the motivator for all our fun, unless she gets trampled by Anna too many times (small inside joke).

Sarah (Townson) is the kind and gentle member of our rowdy group. She often graciously plays referee for the more competitive ones, although when the time comes she can tackle with the best of them and run like the wind. She's very contemplative; picture a clothed female version of The Thinker. And most importantly, with her vast knowledge of the outdoors, if we get lost and stranded in the wilderness she will teach us how to distill water and eat lizards.

Five Months: In approximately five months, one of our troop will be single no more. And though we fully expect our adventures to continue after that joyous day, we intend to capitalize on the time we have left as roommates. And so...

Seventeen Adventures: harrowing happenings, deeds of daring do, fun-filled fiascos, semi-spontaneous scenes, just because jaunts = an absolutely amazing assortment of adventures. We have compiled the ultimate to-do list full to the brim of things that we've always wanted to do together. Each person has contributed her ideas to the list. Some ideas are less realistic than others (Abby with her sky-diving). Our pact was sealed with blood and a stroke of the pen. The purpose of our blog is to amuse ourselves and you, our readers, with tales, pictures, videos, and individual accounts of our exploits. Some days you'll hear from all of us, some days from some of us, and some days from none of us. But there's one thing you can be sure of, you will be hearing from us (hopefully not from accident reports or police scanners).

And so it begins...
